The women are from backgrounds related to personal violence such as wife beating, physical and mental abuse, alcoholic husband, bigamy seeking judicial intervention in cases of separation, divorce, maintenance, child custody, sexual violence within marriage, retrieval of marital property and so on.
Asha supported infrastructure costs for computers, class furniture and a tv/dvd system for the shelter.
