Chandravel is working for the rehabilitation of children of commercial sex workers. He is the founder of TRY ( To Reach You) which he started while still a student at Madras School of Social Work. With 14 years in the field of social change work, he has gained good exposure at grassroot level as well as formed good relationships with the Government officials. Commerical sex work is a profession from acient period onwards in various names (terms). Generation after generation, children are forced to indulge in this profession. Children are affected both mentally and physically. This profession is the main rootcause for the spread of the crucial killer disease called AIDS. It is interlinked with other social aspects in the society like drug addiction and child trafficking.
