This project would provide the village female youth an opportunity to learn a vocational skill and earn money to enable them to make a better future for them and their family. This would be done through hosting of a tailoring school and by providing the location for learning and all the necessary equipment.

People who will benefit from these funds
* Thirty girls living in villages affected by the tsunami and hopefully their families if this newly aquired skill later brings in extra income

Rs 100 monthly for transportation for 30 girls
Rs 200 for monthly tailoring school
Rs120,000 Rupees for 10 sewing machines
5 machines for Kelamanakudi Village
5 machines for Malamanakudi Village
