Kuthambakkam is a village in Thiruvallur District in Tamil Nadu. There were a lot of problems in this village even as recently as a few years back including casteism, illicit liquor, illiteracy, etc. Elango Rangaswamy is now the sarpanch of this village and he's attacking all of these problems in an organized manner. Asha gave a one time grant towards the schools and adult literacy program that they are involved with.
