Tha Ananya Center for Teaching (ACT) is a teacher training program. It's aim is to increase the number of teachers who are sensitive to the social and academic needs of street/slum children.
Informal classes try to provide a unique learning enviroment, and children are grouped by ability and interest rather than age.

The Ananya trust is composed of Ananya Shiksa Kendra (ASK) and the Ananya Learning Center. They are both aimed at educating slum children and children who have run away from home.
