The NGO Society for Upliftment of People with People's Organization and Rural Technology (SUPPORT) started this school in 2018 to provide quality education to the children of poor and marginalized families in remote areas in Ramgarh and Hazaribagh districts, where there is a distinct lack of such education. The area is currently served by government schools where the quality of instruction is poor, and absenteeism is rampant. The school charges a nominal tuition fee to cover expenses, but even that is hard for many families in the region to pay.

The school's main target is the children of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) that SUPPORT has been working with for many years. The students currently come from a distance ranging from 1 Km to 20 Km covering the three blocks, namely, Mandu block of Ramgarh district, Churchu, and Dadi block of Hazaribagh district. The school has hired qualified and experienced teachers with good experience in well-known schools from Hazaribagh city, located 30 Km away, to ensure quality instruction. The school arranges transportation for these teachers.
