Project Description
In order for Nethrodaya to reach the project targets, Asha for Education Canada will provide funding specifically to pay for the cost of student meals, salaries of teachers and staff, Medical Expenses, Maintenance Cost of the Premises like Electricity, Water, building repair, etc. This project aims to help visually and physically challenged individuals realize their dreams.
Nethrodaya is a social service institution founded by a visually challenged person to serve the visually challenged and physically challenged community.
Nethrodaya is registered as Public charitable Trust ( registration number 430/2002/4) dated 21/06/2002) and under section 52 of Persons with disabilities ( equal opportunities ,protection of rights and full participation) Act 1995 .All the services offered to the visually impaired and other differently abled community in Tamil Nadu, India are completely free of cost. The organization is founded by Mr.C.Govindakrishnan a visually impaired person himself and Nethrodaya has been successfully rendering its services since its inception on 2nd October 2002.
