Prerana school supports few girl students (currently 7) whose parents work as low income, daily wage earners in govt hospitals. They live in hutments within the hospital campus but do not go to any formal school. Prerana school runs in the premises of a formal school which has graciously offered its space to allow educating these girls. The total strength of the Prerana school is higher but Asha Trust seems to be supporting only 7 girls at the moment (2017-18)
