Asha Purdue seeks to support mainly the after school tuition and weekend activities. The main budget heads include books, stationary, insurance, student counsellor, a projector, excursions, weekend snacks and tuition fees. Through Shades of Happiness and Chetanalaya foundations, we hope to be able to improve the quality of education provided to the underpriviledged kids of New Delhi area and give them access to equal opportunities as their more fortunate counterparts. Books, stationary and tuition fees support ensures that. Besides this, we believe that insurance and student counsellor will go a long way in retaining maximum number of students and attract those back who drop out. Projector cost, excursions and weekend activities are an attempt at their overall development.
Chetanalaya works to empower the underprivileged, marginalized and vulnerable sections of society towards self-reliance and human dignity. With Shades of happiness, Chetanalaya is trying to provide alternative or supplementary education to kids of the New Delhi area.
