Asha Princeton is supporting special teachers at the school.
This project aims to run a school for the poorer sections starting from nursery level to the eleventh standard. Little Stars School (LSS) has expanded from 7 children to now over 750 children in 2 buildings. The school teaches basic education (math, science, reading, etc.) in addition to vocational training and hygiene/grooming. Most students are children of migrant workers or from illiterate families.
There is also a girls' shelter for some of the girls at the school. The shelter is also expanding, and currently has 23 girls.
