Closure of Asha chapters at Michigan State University and Penn State University.

Asha for Education is closing down two of its University chapters owing to continued dormancy resulting from a severe lack of volunteer resources to sustain them among various other reasons. This note is being put out for the public in general and to Asha’s donors near these chapters in specific, to be mindful when directing their contributions to Asha for Education.

Beginning October 19th 2010, Asha for Education will not be officially represented for any operational and/or fund raising activities performed under the banner of the aforementioned chapters. If and when more volunteers at one or both Universities show active interest to revive the chapter, full support will be extended to them to continue local awareness and fund raising efforts in these areas to support education related projects.
