Project Administration Responsibilities

Projects Coordinator

  • Coordinate all the projects related activities
  • Be part of the Asha-wide projects egroup
  • Collect project proposals
  • Find Project leads
  • Coordinate Project Selection Process
  • Present new projects for selection
  • Coordinate correspondence with the NGOs
  • Organize site visits
  • Collect annual reports
  • Archive all the project related documents
  • Chapter contact for all the asha-wide publication of projects information
  • Coordinate Asha-Star projects
  • Perform the activities of projects lead in the absence of project leads
  • Report progress to the Asha-Colorado team

Project Leader

  1. Gather additional questions from volunteers and communicate with the organization and get answers and send them back to core group
  2. Once the project has been approved, communicate to the organization and obtain details on how money is to be sent
  3. Work with the treasurer and send the money to the organization
  4. Make sure the receipt is received from the organization and hand it over to the treasurer
  5. Provide necessary details for updating the web Keep in touch with the organization, get photos of site
  6. Arrange for a site visit
  7. Make the site visit details available to the core group and if the group has any further questions ask the organization
  8. Update the volunteers on the progress of the project
  9. Provide information to the webmaster about the project and make sure the website is updated
  10. Work with the chapter publicity coordinator to prepare fliers and posters
  11. Obtain half-year report
  12. Review the project at the end of the year
  13. Before the end of the funding period get the new project proposal review it, and continue from step 1) again
  14. Keep Asha-Colorado projects coordinator in the loop
  15. Make sure the documents are stored at central location
  16. Evaluate possible conversion of project into Asha-Stars
  17. Push the projects towards self-sufficiency
