I am running the Chicago Marathon this year to raise money for Education. I am sure I do not have to sell the importance of education to you. It has made a huge impact on our lives and I am sure I would not have had the same dreams and ambitions, if it was not for education.
I hope for your participation in providing wings to the dreams of many underprivileged children in India. I hope for your support in achieving my fundraising target of $2620 ($100 a mile) for ASHA, a non-profit organization, helping to raise funds for education of the poor in India. Since 1991 Asha for Education has supported over 385 individual projects across India and disbursed more than six million dollars in educational funding. According to Charity Navigator, an independent charity evaluator, Asha for Education ranks among the top in the field of International Relief and Development
